Tank Tape Application
PLS 755 Tank Tape bridges gaps around seams, joints, pipe penetrations, nozzle openings, and irregular surfaces, creating a smoother foundation for compatible tank lining systems.
Protect bolted tank seams, joints, penetrations, and vulnerable connections with engineered sealing and lining solutions from AmTech Tank Lining & Repair. Our field engineering team evaluates corrosion, substrate condition, stored contents, and environmental exposure before recommending the right repair approach. Northeast facilities benefit from practical support for water, wastewater, chemical, industrial, and commercial tank applications.

Targeted sealing, preparation, and waterproofing solutions for tank seams, joints, penetrations, and vulnerable connection points.
PLS 755 Tank Tape bridges gaps around seams, joints, pipe penetrations, nozzle openings, and irregular surfaces, creating a smoother foundation for compatible tank lining systems.
AmTech crews assess corrosion, existing coatings, substrate integrity, and environmental conditions before using blasting or mechanical preparation to support dependable seam and joint adhesion.
Port Seal and Xypex systems help address cracks, construction joints, cold joints, pipe penetrations, and water infiltration in concrete tanks and related structures.
Bolted seams and joints can become vulnerable points when corrosion, movement, gaps, or failed coatings allow water or chemicals to reach the substrate. AmTech evaluates the tank and service environment, prepares affected surfaces, and selects compatible sealing or lining methods. For Northeast facilities, this supports dependable protection through changing weather conditions and demanding industrial, municipal, and commercial operations.

Experienced field crews and engineering support help restore tank integrity while supporting safe, efficient operations.
Engineer-led crews assess seams, joints, corrosion, and lining conditions for informed repair recommendations.
AmTech brings more than 55 years of tank lining and repair experience to Northeast facilities.
Repair and lining approaches are selected to support quick restoration and minimize facility disruption.
Experienced field crews support projects across the Northeast and all 50 US states, Canada, and the Caribbean.

CS Project Engineer / NLPA Special Inspector
Greg Comeau serves as AmTech's CS Project Engineer and NLPA Special Inspector, bringing specialized expertise in commercial tank assessment, regulatory compliance, and complex lining system design. As a licensed NLPA Special Inspector, Greg conducts detailed tank integrity evaluations, ultrasonic permeation testing, and structural assessments that form the foundation of every AmTech project. His engineering oversight ensures that surface preparation, material selection, and application protocols meet or exceed API, NFPA, ANSI, and NSF standards. Greg manages projects across multiple industries—from Fortune 500 chemical facilities to municipal water systems—coordinating field crews, specifying proprietary lining systems, and providing technical guidance throughout the installation process. With direct oversight of both routine maintenance projects and emergency response situations, he ensures that every tank restoration delivers maximum service life extension while minimizing facility downtime. Greg is the primary contact for project inquiries, technical consultations, and employment applications.
The appropriate sealant depends on the tank material, leak location, stored water, substrate condition, corrosion level, and whether the repair must support a future lining system. AmTech may use PLS 755 Tank Tape for gaps, seams, joints, penetrations, or temporary low-pressure leak control, while concrete tanks may require crystalline waterproofing. A site assessment helps identify a compatible, durable approach.
