Wastewater Tank Lining
DuraChem® 500 series poly lining systems create seamless, chemical-resistant barriers that cure instantly, resisting H₂S exposure, pH fluctuations, and biological activity in municipal and commercial septic systems.
AmTech Tank Lining provides specialized commercial septic tank repair, lining, and maintenance services throughout Rochester, NY. With over 55 years of experience protecting wastewater systems from corrosion and failure, our engineer-led crews deliver rapid-response solutions that extend tank life, prevent environmental incidents, and keep your facility compliant with New York State regulations—even during harsh upstate winters.

Complete wastewater tank solutions from inspection and structural repair to advanced lining systems and emergency response.
DuraChem® 500 series poly lining systems create seamless, chemical-resistant barriers that cure instantly, resisting H₂S exposure, pH fluctuations, and biological activity in municipal and commercial septic systems.
24/7 rapid-response service for active leaks, structural failures, lining breaches, and regulatory shutdowns. Our crews mobilize quickly with materials on-site to minimize downtime and prevent environmental incidents.
SSPC-compliant abrasive blasting, hydroblasting, and surface profiling remove corrosion, old coatings, and contaminants to ensure maximum adhesion of protective lining systems to steel, concrete, and fiberglass substrates.
Crystalline waterproofing systems (Port Seal®, Xypex) penetrate concrete to permanently seal micro-cracks and prevent water infiltration, protecting wastewater tanks from hydrostatic pressure and structural deterioration.
Non-destructive ultrasonic testing identifies hidden wall thinning, pinholes, and permeations invisible to visual inspection—critical for compliance, leak prevention, and determining repair vs. replacement needs.
Custom laminate reconstruction using glass, Kevlar, or carbon veils with polymer resins matched to your chemical environment. Includes structural repairs, delamination correction, and nozzle replacement for FRP septic tanks.
Rochester's freeze-thaw cycles and stringent DEC regulations demand septic tank solutions that perform year-round. AmTech's proprietary DuraChem® and HydraStone® lining systems create monolithic barriers that withstand the corrosive wastewater environment—hydrogen sulfide gas, fluctuating pH, and biological activity—while producing zero VOCs and curing instantly to minimize facility shutdowns. Our engineer-led field crews serve municipalities, commercial properties, industrial plants, and institutional facilities across Monroe County and the Finger Lakes region with API-compliant repairs and UL-listed protective systems backed by the industry's best warranty program.

Five decades of protecting wastewater infrastructure with proprietary systems and engineer-led crews.
24/7 rapid mobilization across New York State with materials on-site to address active leaks, failures, and regulatory emergencies.
Solutions engineered for Rochester's harsh winters, freeze-thaw cycles, and compliance with NYS DEC wastewater regulations and local codes.
Exclusive DuraChem® 500 series instant-cure linings and HydraStone® Alkrete cementitious systems with UL listings and API compliance.

CS Project Engineer / NLPA Special Inspector
Greg Comeau serves as AmTech's CS Project Engineer and NLPA Special Inspector, bringing specialized expertise in commercial tank assessment, regulatory compliance, and complex lining system design. As a licensed NLPA Special Inspector, Greg conducts detailed tank integrity evaluations, ultrasonic permeation testing, and structural assessments that form the foundation of every AmTech project. His engineering oversight ensures that surface preparation, material selection, and application protocols meet or exceed API, NFPA, ANSI, and NSF standards. Greg manages projects across multiple industries—from Fortune 500 chemical facilities to municipal water systems—coordinating field crews, specifying proprietary lining systems, and providing technical guidance throughout the installation process. With direct oversight of both routine maintenance projects and emergency response situations, he ensures that every tank restoration delivers maximum service life extension while minimizing facility downtime. Greg is the primary contact for project inquiries, technical consultations, and employment applications.
AmTech's DuraChem® 500 series and HydraStone® Alkrete lining systems are engineered to provide decades of protection in Rochester's freeze-thaw environment. The DuraChem instant-cure poly lining resists hydrogen sulfide corrosion, pH extremes, and biological activity typical of wastewater systems, while HydraStone's cementitious formulation withstands temperature fluctuations and hydrostatic pressure. Actual lifespan depends on tank conditions, stored substances, and maintenance, but our systems routinely deliver 20-30+ years of service when properly applied. All installations are backed by our BLUE CHECK warranty program—the industry's most comprehensive coverage.
