Inspection, preparation, repair, waterproofing, and lining solutions for fire suppression water storage tanks.
Crews assess substrate condition, corrosion, existing coatings, humidity, and other site conditions before selecting abrasive blasting, water blasting, or mechanical preparation.
HydraStone Alkrete cementitious lining systems help create a seamless, food-safe barrier for steel or concrete water tanks, including fire suppression storage applications.
Field crews address corrosion, pitting, damaged steel, nozzle concerns, and lining deterioration before applying a system suited to the tank’s service conditions.
Dry, wet, or water blasting removes rust, scale, old coatings, and contaminants while crews verify the surface profile required for the selected lining system.
Port Seal and Xypex systems help seal cracks, joints, penetrations, and concrete capillaries in fire suppression water tanks and related structures.
Engineer-led field crews respond to active leaks, corrosion breakthroughs, lining failures, structural cracks, and other tank integrity concerns.
Fire suppression tanks must remain dependable despite moisture exposure, corrosion risk, and demanding inspection requirements. AmTech evaluates the tank, substrate, existing lining, and operating conditions before recommending preparation, structural repair, waterproofing, or lining work. For New York City and Long Island facilities, this approach supports reliable water storage while helping minimize disruption during restoration and maintenance projects.

Experienced field engineering and proprietary lining systems support dependable tank restoration.
More than 55 years of tank lining and repair experience supports informed project planning.
Own experienced field crews support projects across New York City, Long Island, and broader coverage areas.
Field engineering staff help match preparation methods and lining systems to actual tank conditions.
Restoration-focused solutions help facilities minimize downtime while extending tank service life.
Engineer-led specialists support complex tank lining and repair projects.

With direct oversight of both routine maintenance projects and emergency response situations, he ensures that every tank restoration delivers maximum service life extension while minimizing facility downtime. Greg is the primary contact for project inquiries, technical consultations, and employment applications.
Fire suppression tank lining is the preparation, repair, and application of a protective barrier inside a tank that stores fire protection water. The work helps address corrosion, pitting, deteriorated coatings, water infiltration, and substrate concerns in steel or concrete tanks. AmTech evaluates the tank’s condition and service requirements before selecting preparation methods and a compatible lining or waterproofing system.
