Surface Preparation
Crews assess corrosion, existing coatings, humidity, and substrate condition before abrasive blasting or other preparation methods create a sound surface for relining.
Protect your fire water storage tank with specialized relining and repair services from AmTech Tank Lining & Repair. Our engineer-led crews assess corrosion, prepare steel or concrete surfaces, and apply systems selected for dependable water storage protection. With nationwide field coverage and experience serving municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities, we help Rhode Island customers extend tank service life and minimize operational disruption.

Specialized inspection, preparation, repair, waterproofing, and lining solutions for fire water storage tanks.
Crews assess corrosion, existing coatings, humidity, and substrate condition before abrasive blasting or other preparation methods create a sound surface for relining.
HydraStone Alkrete cementitious lining systems provide a seamless barrier for steel or concrete water tanks, selected according to tank conditions and service requirements.
AmTech repairs corroded steel, damaged areas, nozzles, and structural components before lining application, helping restore tank integrity and support continued fire water service.
Crystalline waterproofing solutions address cracks, joints, penetrations, and water infiltration in concrete fire suppression tanks and related structures.
Dry, wet, or water blasting removes rust, scale, contaminants, and failed coatings while establishing the surface profile required by the selected lining system.
Engineer-led field crews respond to active leaks, lining failures, corrosion breakthroughs, and other tank integrity concerns affecting critical water storage.
Fire water tanks require dependable interior protection against corrosion, leakage, and lining deterioration. AmTech evaluates each tank’s construction and condition, completes necessary steel or concrete repairs, and applies a compatible lining system after thorough surface preparation. For Rhode Island facilities, this approach supports reliable fire protection infrastructure while helping reduce disruptive tank maintenance and preserve the useful life of existing assets.

Greg is the primary contact for project inquiries, technical consultations, and employment applications.
Fire water tank relining involves inspecting the tank, repairing damaged areas, preparing the substrate, and applying a protective lining to the interior. The lining creates a barrier between stored fire protection water and the tank surface, helping address corrosion, deterioration, and leakage risks. AmTech selects the lining approach according to the tank’s material, condition, and service requirements.
