Protect critical fire suppression water storage with engineered tank lining, coating, repair, and corrosion control from AmTech Tank Lining & Repair. Our field crews restore steel and concrete holding tanks using proven systems designed to extend tank life, reduce downtime, support compliance, and keep emergency water reserves dependable when facilities need them most.

Complete lining, coating, preparation, repair, and waterproofing services for fire suppression holding tanks.
AmTech restores steel and concrete fire suppression holding tanks with proprietary lining systems selected for corrosion resistance, water storage performance, substrate condition, and long-term reliability.
Engineer-led crews remove rust, scale, old coatings, contaminants, and oxides using appropriate preparation methods, then verify surface profile, dew point, humidity, and adhesion readiness.
Dry blasting, wet blasting, hydroblasting, and specialty media preparation create the correct surface profile for dependable coating performance on steel or concrete tank interiors.
Crystalline waterproofing systems help seal concrete fire suppression tanks, cracks, cold joints, pipe penetrations, and porous surfaces against water intrusion and structural deterioration.
Rapid-response crews address leaks, lining failure, corrosion breakthrough, nozzle problems, and structural issues to help restore tank integrity and minimize facility disruption.
Older tanks can be upgraded with industry-standard manways to improve code-compliant access for future inspection, cleaning, lining, repair, and ongoing maintenance.

AmTech begins with a detailed inspection of the fire suppression holding tank, reviewing corrosion, coating failure, leaks, access limitations, substrate condition, and testing needs such as ultrasonic thickness checks.
Decades of tank restoration expertise support safer, longer-lasting fire suppression water storage.
Decades of tank lining experience support dependable solutions for critical facility infrastructure.
Field engineering staff guide assessments, material selection, preparation standards, and application protocols.
HydraStone, DuraChem, Armor Shield, and AT BiFlex systems address varied tank conditions.

CS Project Engineer / NLPA Special Inspector
Greg Comeau serves as AmTech's CS Project Engineer and NLPA Special Inspector, bringing specialized expertise in commercial tank assessment, regulatory compliance, and complex lining system design. As a licensed NLPA Special Inspector, Greg conducts detailed tank integrity evaluations, ultrasonic permeation testing, and structural assessments that form the foundation of every AmTech project. His engineering oversight ensures that surface preparation, material selection, and application protocols meet or exceed API, NFPA, ANSI, and NSF standards. Greg manages projects across multiple industries—from Fortune 500 chemical facilities to municipal water systems—coordinating field crews, specifying proprietary lining systems, and providing technical guidance throughout the installation process. With direct oversight of both routine maintenance projects and emergency response situations, he ensures that every tank restoration delivers maximum service life extension while minimizing facility downtime. Greg is the primary contact for project inquiries, technical consultations, and employment applications.
The cost to reline a water tank depends on tank size, material, access, corrosion depth, existing coating removal, required repairs, and the lining system selected. Fire suppression holding tanks may also require schedule coordination to maintain protection. AmTech evaluates each project case by case, including surface preparation, testing, repairs, and return-to-service requirements before recommending a scope.
